Christopher Butler is president of embedded and critical power businesses at Flex, the advanced, end-to-end manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, source, build, deliver, and manage products that improve the world.
In his role, Mr. Butler oversees Flex’s strategy, planning, development, and execution for the Embedded and Critical Power markets. He leads teams delivering products and intellectual property to addresses escalating power consumption for data center and other markets, as well as critical power in and around facilities. Additionally, Mr. Butler manages the company’s data center innovation roadmaps, enabling customers to address the long-term energy transitions.
He joined Flex in 2022 as President of Industrial Solutions. Previously, Mr. Butler held leadership roles at Eaton Corporation, including President, Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure Division, and Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Power Quality Division in both the US and Shanghai. During his career tenure, he has continuously delivered growth and managed multiple acquisitions and integrations.
Mr. Butler holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from Virginia Tech, and an MBA from the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
