Enphase announces beginning of microinverter shipments from United States with Flex

Today Enphase and Flex hosted a clean energy innovation event to celebrate Enphase’s first manufacturing expansion in the U.S. through its partnership with Flex. U.S. President Joe Biden, U.S. Representative James Clyburn, Flex CEO Revathi Advaithi, and Enphase CEO Badri Kothandaraman spoke at the event at Flex’s manufacturing facility in Columbia, South Carolina, highlighting how the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) has enabled Enphase Energy to begin manufacturing in the United States, creating new jobs and advancing the country’s clean energy economy. President Biden and other national and state government officials visited the manufacturing facility alongside Flex and Enphase executives, where the two companies spoke about their 15-year partnership and shared commitment to accelerating the world’s transition to clean energy through advanced technology and strategic regional manufacturing.
