Our 2020 calendar year sustainability activities, performance and results are transparently delivered in our 2021 sustainability report.
In the last few years, the connectivity of medical devices has evolved into a necessary feature. It is now common to have medical devices connected to a smartphone or directly to the cloud, exposing them to attacks similar to consumer IoT devices. A vulnerability in a medical device might compromise its safety features or lead to personal data leakage: Security is a key property of the device and it begins at the earliest stages of design.
Learn more about:
- why a medical device can become the target of cybersecurity attacks
- why it is important to integrate cybersecurity activities at the early stages of product development
- why cybersecurity is not just a matter of adding SW algorithms to encrypt data
