This equates to a power density of 128 W\/cm<sup>3<\/sup> (2126 W\/in<sup>3<\/sup>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The unregulated device utilizes an 8:1 fixed ratio, meaning the output voltage ranges from 5-7.5V, ideal for those applications that require a lower intermediate bus voltage that can be helpful to optimize overall system efficiency when used in conjunction with downstream <a href=\"\/products\/power-modules\/product-selector?order=desc&amp;order_by=field_pout_max&amp;order_type=meta&amp;order_format=number&amp;series=Power%20Modules&amp;status=Active&amp;sub_family=Analog%20Point%20of%20Load;Digital%20Point%20of%20Load\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">POLs<\/a>, VRMs or Integrated Power Stages such as the <a href=\"\/products\/power-modules\/series\/bmr510\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BMR510 <\/a>and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With efficiency peaking at 97.7%, up to three units can be paralleled for a total load of 1080W. The parts are mechanically and thermally designed for top-side cooling to a heatsink with airflow, or for liquid cooling via a thermal block, where the relatively flat design of the topside of the converter allows for easy connection via a thermal interface material such as a gap pad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The BMR320 protection features include output current limit and over-voltage, along with over-temperature and input under-voltage.
