What began as a single-product manufacturing engagement has evolved into a global relationship encompassing high-volume production, new product introduction (NPI), pilot line development, and IVD manufacturing support <a href=\"https:\/\/flex.com\/company\/global-locations\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"127\">across multiple Flex locations worldwide<\/a>. When a key material used in one of the customer&#8217;s consumable products required modification due to supplier-driven changes, Flex was tasked with assessing the impact and maintaining uninterrupted production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-dark-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-9e8f6702b5595811614621d5c66c5308\" style=\"font-weight:600\">The challenge<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The customer\u2019s material supplier announced that a critical additive used in a resin formulation would be discontinued, forcing a transition to a replacement material.
