Even six months ago, we\u2019d be having separate meetings with our customers\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/flex.com\/industries\/data-center#power\">power<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/flex.com\/industries\/data-center#it-infrastructure\">IT<\/a>,\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/flex.com\/industries\/data-center#liquid-cooling\">cooling infrastructure<\/a> teams, none of whom were working with each other or talking to the people designing the chips. To be fair, it was pretty much the same at Flex, with designers and engineers working on their own pieces of the puzzle and procurement following suit. Organizationally, most of us have been set up\u00a0that way. But as chip and rack density\u00a0have escalated and the challenges have intensified,\u00a0people are warming up to a more interconnected approach. We\u2019re seeing convergence organizationally and in the way systems are designed \u2014 holistically, not piecemeal, to tackle the big power, heat, and scale challenges.
